There are robots all around us. Some do very complicated jobs like flying airplanes and driving subway trains. And some do one simple job. When an automatic washing machine is switched on, water pours in. The machine waits until the water is warm enough for washing clothes. It does this by “feedback” (反馈). Information about what is happening is feed back into the robot to tell what to do next. Our eyes, ears and other senses are our feedback. They tell us what is going on around us. So robots are like human beings in two ways.
They work and they have feedback.
In some ways robots are better than human beings. They work quickly and do not make mistakes. They do not get bored doing the same job over and over again. And they never get tired. So robots are very useful in factories. They can be taught to do many different jobs. First their electronic brain must be shown how the job is done. A person moves the robot’s “arms” and “hands” through each part of the job.
The most intelligent robots can move and see. Their eyes are cameras. Their fingers can feel shapes and sizes of the objects. These robots have computer brains linked to their eyes and fingers, which control their actions. The expensive “Times New Roman” --- The most intelligent robots are used in scientific research. 第二节(共5小题;每小题2分,满分10分)
根据短文内容,从下框的A-F选项中选出能概括每一段主题的最佳选项,并将答案涂在答题纸上相应位置,选项中有一项为多余选项。
Have you ever made a foolish or harmful decision when angry? Have you ever said or done something in the heat of the moment that you wish you could take back? Or do you tend to keep your anger hidden, choosing to bury the feeling and hoping it just goes away?
61.
People will be angry when they meet with unpleasant things. But doctors say anger can be an extremely damaging emotion, unless you learn how to deal with it. They warn that anger can lead to heart disease, stomach problems, headaches, emotional problems and possibly cancer.
62.
Anger is a normal emotion that we can release from time to time. Some people express anger openly in a calm reasonable way. Others burst with anger, scream and yell. But other people keep their anger inside. They can not or will not express it. This is called repressing anger.
63.
For years many doctors thought that repressing anger was more dangerous to a person's health than expressing it. They said that when a person is angry, the brain releases the same hormone(荷尔蒙)。They speed the heart rate, raise blood pressure, or sugar into the blood, etc.Anger may cause you a cancer
64.
Some doctors say that both repressing and expressing anger can be dangerous. They believe that those who express anger violently may be more likely to develop heart disease, and they believe that those who keep anger inside may face a greater danger of high blood pressure.
65.
Doctors say the solution is learning how to deal with anger. They say the first step is to admit that you are angry and to recognize the real cause of the anger, then decide if the cause is serious enough to get angry about. If it is, they say, “Do not express your anger while angry.Wait until your anger has cooled down and you are able to express yourself calmly and reasonably.”

Ways to express love to parents
My dear fellows,
Today I’d like to talk about ways to express love to our parents.
As everyone knows, recently people have beenencouragedby public service advertising on TV to go home to see theirparents and express theirlove to them. As a middle school student, I feel moved every time I see it.
As far as I am concerned, there are various ways to express love to our parents. First, it is necessary to remember their birthdays, and expressing our wishes to them is a good way to let them know how we love them. Besides, we have the duty to care for the condition of their life and health. Most importantly, we should often help our parents as much housework as we can, particularly when they are tired.
No matter what we do, remember showing respect for our parents is one of the Chinese traditional moral values.
Thank you!
